The
graphic design for Segmente packaging is by Vienna based
artists Elisabeth Kopf and Werner Korn.
The packaging for the CD itself is reminiscent of old LP-sleeves. The
outer cover pictures are scratchable (like lottery tickets), so eventually,
the images of Tronzo and Herbert will look different on each CD, depending
on the curiosity of the purchaser.
This design was awarded a 'Certificate of Excellence' the European
Design Annual 5/2000, one of Europe's most prestigious design competitions
in Great Britain. It also received recognition as a Merit winner
in Graphic Design in the79th Art Directors Club Annual Awards in New
York. |
